Cem YACAN

Born in Van in 1978, Cem Yacan completed his pre-university education in Balıkesir. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University (İzmir) Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2001, and then from the English Department of the Vocational School of Foreign Languages at the same university in 2002.

Cem Yacan, who started his working life during his student years, began his career in the finance sector as an intern at Yaşarbank in 1997.

After completing his studies, Cem Yacan worked in the Marketing and Sales departments of the food and beverage, petroleum, and automotive sectors from 2001 to 2004. He continued his financial career at Türkiye's largest domestically-owned private bank. During his 20-year career at the bank, he held the roles of Marketing, Retail and Commercial Branch Manager, and Regional Segment Manager. Since December 2022, he has served as CEO of BTP Group Companies and General Manager of West Line Global Trading DMCC in Dubai.

Cem Yacan, who has significant expertise in marketing, risk management and financial analysis, provides various internal and external training on the above-mentioned topics and participates as a speaker in various meetings of private sector companies and non-governmental organizations.

Cem Yacan, who continues his professional life in Izmir and Dubai, is married and has two children.
